Customer Service Materials & Care

As Naolima®, we are dedicated to crafting high-quality products. This commitment is reflected in our selection of natural materials, environmentally friendly manufacturing processes, and ethically sustainable production practices.

Our aim is to create furniture that lasts for many years and can be passed from generation to generation or resold when no longer needed.

Furniture from Artisan Woodworking

For our MoveMi®, we predominantly use birch wood. Birch is ideal for furniture due to its strength, stability, and beautiful grain. All wooden elements are carefully lacquered, resulting in a smooth, satin-matte surface that is easy to maintain and feels pleasant to the touch. Our lacquer meets the European standard EN 71-3 for safety.

For daily cleaning, use a damp, well-wrung cloth and treat the entire surface evenly. Avoid cleaning agents to preserve the materials. Spills should be wiped up immediately to prevent permanent stains. Please note that the wood may change with prolonged exposure to high humidity or direct sunlight, potentially leading to discoloration.

Textiles Made from Premium Organic Cotton

We prioritize sustainability and environmental awareness, which is why we prefer to use organic cotton. This cotton comes from controlled organic farming, which avoids harmful pesticides and reduces water consumption. By forgoing chemical fertilizers and protecting natural biodiversity, organic cotton makes a significant contribution to environmental protection. Additionally, our organic cotton is Oeko-Tex certified, ensuring the highest standards for textile production and safety. Furthermore, the covers of our mattresses are GOTS-certified.

To keep your textiles in optimal condition, regularly wipe them with a soft, damp cloth and avoid using cleaning agents. Ensure that the textiles are well-ventilated and do not place the furniture directly against damp walls or in very humid rooms. Always follow the care instructions on the labels to ensure proper maintenance. Additionally, protect the textiles from direct sunlight to prevent fading and material wear.

Details in Premium Leather

Our leather elements from Ubrique, Spain, combine luxurious quality with outstanding craftsmanship. Ubrique, known for its centuries-old leather tradition, provides a material renowned for its exceptional durability and timeless elegance. Each piece of leather is carefully selected and refined to meet the highest standards of color, texture, and finish. We use only full-grain leather, which is vegetable-tanned and completely free of chrome.

Initially, the leather may feel somewhat stiff, but it becomes progressively softer and more flexible with regular use. Natural creases may develop, highlighting the authenticity of the material. For care, wipe the leather with a damp cloth and make sure to thoroughly blot any excess water to prevent stains.

Products Made from Innovative Nonwoven

Our polyester nonwoven is made from recycled plastic, which significantly reduces energy and resource consumption compared to conventional polyester nonwoven. The material is easily recyclable, allowing for the creation of new products at the end of its lifecycle. It features an attractive texture, is impact-resistant, and has low wear. Our nonwoven is Oeko-Tex certified and meets its standards without exception.

Use a damp cloth to clean the nonwoven from dust and dirt (also dishwasher safe at low temperatures). Allow the material to air dry thoroughly after cleaning.
